TESTIMONIALS

I am so grateful to have Margarita as my violin teacher. During my lessons with her, I found that she is always patient and supportive to build up techniques and postures with me. She is an experienced teacher who is able to inspire me by introducing different teaching methods. Her lesson is always fun and interesting. I enjoy to learn violin with her. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn violin. Thank you Margarita for teaching me violin.

Ethan

Margarita is a great teacher - I took violin for a few years when I was a child and hadn't played in 15+ years. I have now had lessons with Margarita for a bit over a year and have noticed great progress. Additionally, I work a corporate job and she has worked with me doing lessons virtually which has helped me fit this in with my busy schedule. She is always pleasant and makes sure she challenges me.
Thank you!

JESSIE

Margarita is nothing short of amazing! She is clever, passionate and talented. She teaches in such a way that breaks down all the elements of playing, allowing you to build on them and become a much more refined and in tune player. I would have no hesitation in recommending Margarita if you want to learn the violin or if you are coming back from some time away.

Marianne

Where do I begin?! I play the Piano, Flute and Violin and have been taking lessons since the age of 6 with MANY, many different teachers. Trust me when I say Margarita is the best instrumental teacher I’ve ever had. She is always patient and supportive when teaching me the skills and techniques to be a great violinist. Because of her guidance, in just one year, I was able to transfer from “Beginner’s Strings” to now playing as a First Violinist for a full Orchestra. She knows exactly what my strengths and weaknesses are and tailors every lesson to my needs. Her knowledge and dedication of the violin motivates me in playing better every day. “Amazing” is an understatement!

SONIC

My son had been learning Violin for four years in a different music school before he joined Melbourne Violin Academy. The violin teacher turnover was high in the previous music school and at one point, they couldn't find a replacement teacher. That is when we found Margarita. My son's violin techniques, posture, and intonation improved significantly since he started training with Margarita. He also passed grade 3 & 4 AMEB repertoire exams within a short period of 15 months. Margarita has a natural talent in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of her students and devising teaching methods that bring out the best in them. By watching her lesson delivery, I have also learnt many transferable skills that can be applied to areas other than music. Margarita is a passionate and dedicated violin teacher and I highly recommend her to anyone who would like to learn violin.

CHITHRA

Margarita is friendly, her teaching methods is hands on & practical. I am an inexperienced instrumentalist but she is so patient & never gave up on me. She encourage me a lot that I do better & will become a good one. I felt that the fees spent worth it & never had I regret in choosing her lesson. Thank u so much Margarita for accepting & teaching me with patience. I would recommend her lesson for everyone that want to learn violin from zero to the levels that u want to achieve.

FARAH

I came to Melbourne Violin Academy after a year practicing elsewhere. I had developed bad habits that were holding me back. Margarita has been patient with me while correcting my form, and after a couple months I am progressing again. She has exhibited high levels of teaching skills and compassion.
